What was the type of lubricant recommendation for slide motors?

I heard a dry spray lube to talcum powder.

I hate to omit it, I haven't used anything in years. The rubber is in good condition even here in Florida. My goal was to try and get rid of the rubber streaks from happening. I can clean the streaks off alright but I was trying to prevent them from happening in the first place.

I would use dry spray lubricant to prevent any dirt from getting stuck.

There are 3 things talked about here. The rubber seals, the slide cylinders on hydraulic slides and the motor. I assume the motor would be for the newer electric slides vs. hydraulic.
Some use talc on the rubber, I use a spray (looks like shaving cream) for rubber slide seals. Just wipe down the cylinders and don't have the motors, so don't know.
