    Don, I would recommend Eternabond. It is designed for roof repair. I've used it a couple of times over the years and had excellent results.

      I just want to give a an update. Earlier post I said I was going to tackle the roof staple problem. It is very easy to do. Did one side in about two and half hours today. Need 2 eight foot ladders and a plank. Some one inch stainless pan head sheet metal screws. Some duct tape and clear silicone and you are ready to go

                I pulled the rubber out then took the trim off. Lifted the roof back , put a 1" stainless pan head screw in where there was a staple. put duct tape over it ,then closed it up.

                  After putting everything back, did you have to reseal around the molding again? Did you use Lap seal or Silicone?
